Frequently asked questions
Brazilian law requires any company that wants to import, distribute, register products, or hire employees to establish a legally registered entity in the country. This local company is the one that will be accountable for meeting all tax, health, and commercial obligations before local authorities.
If you plan to sell regulated products (such as cosmetics, medical devices, electronics, or food items), they must be registered with ANVISA or INMETRO, and that can only be done through a Brazilian company or a qualified local representative.
That’s possible. We offer a full service of market research and strategic partner scouting. You can hire us to:
Understand market size and demand for your product or service;
Assess the economic and legal feasibility of entering the market;
Identify and approach potential distributors, integrators, or commercial partners;
Present your brand and solutions to selected stakeholders in Brazil.
This allows you to test and validate the Brazilian market with minimal risk, before committing to incorporation or investment.
Our full company incorporation package includes:
Drafting and registering the Articles of Association;
Registration with the Federal Revenue (CNPJ – similar to a Tax ID), State and Municipal authorities;
Support to obtain necessary licenses and permits;
Virtual business address (for up to 6 months);
A legal representative appointed by us, to comply with Brazilian law;
Corporate bank account opening;
Coordination of mandatory monthly accounting;
Communication and document flow between accounting and government agencies;
Certified translations and document apostille (billed separately).
No. With a Power of Attorney (POA) issued and apostilled in your country, we can handle the full process on your behalf.
If you plan to appoint a foreign director, they will need to obtain a Brazilian tax ID (CPF), which can be done at the nearest Brazilian consulate.
Brazilian law requires all companies, even inactive ones, to:
Maintain a business address (can be virtual, approx. USD 80/month);
Hire a licensed accounting firm (USD 200–400/month);
Appoint a legal representative or resident director (USD 1,700+/month).
These services are bundled into our monthly maintenance package, with a much lower cost, which we fully coordinate for you.
(Depending on the nature of the operation, or start of activities, other costs are necessary)
